MoneyMates workshops are based around the concept of sharing and learning together as a group. Our facilitators educate and guide people in group settings to identify their financial goals and build their skills to create a manageable budgeting plan. Facilitators encourage group members to learn from others and gain control over their financial lives and build resilience.

Together, over several weeks participants:

  • learn more about getting control of debt, budgeting and cash flow management, financial products, safer lending and growing their resources
  • learn from other people who are in similar situations, share their own insights and knowledge and build support networks with people going through the same experiences
  • access other information and support
  • build up their networks with whānau and their community.
If you are a community group, or have a group of friends interested in participating in a MoneyMates programme, we can tailor a course to your needs. We can host the course at our office, or we can come to you - where ever you or your clients will feel most comfortable. Just get in touch and we can discuss logistics!
